According to ComputerWeekly american companies are diving into the possibility to utilize the advantages of web 2.0 on their corporate sites. But it's not only public blogs that is of interest.

Cannondale Bicycle Corp experienced that their company profile has been greatly strengthened since introducing a public blog. Now they are pushing it further by implementing blogging and wikis as a part of their internal communication.
"When we talk about different technologies and where they may fit within our suite of solutions, wikis often come up," Maurice said. "Our engineers … are also considering using wikis to help them share ideas and concepts, but there are concerns that need to be addressed.
